Sports Massage
You do not need to be an athlete to benefit from sports massage.
Sports massage uses deeper pressure and muscle energy techniques to reduce muscle tension, improve range of movement, and support recovery.
It can be used in the treatment of injuries, or as part of maintenance to keep you feeling your best.
Benefits include improved local blood flow and recovery following exercise, increased muscle flexibility and reduced pain. It can reduce risk of injury when used in conjunction to appropriate training and recovery.
Within sports massage sessions we may also discuss tips to sustain improvements, including exercise and lifestyle modifications.
Initial appointments are 45 or 60 minutes. Follow ups are 30-60 minutes depending on your needs.
